How do I join?


To become an AustSafe Super Employer you need to complete the Employer Application Form and send it back to us.

If you have any questions or need any assistance with your application, you can speak with our Customer Service Centre on 1300 131 293.

 


How do I join up my employees?


Whatever your type of business, AustSafe Super has an option to register your employees that will be right for you. Choose from any of these options:

  1. Give your employees a copy of the Industry Member Guide or an Employee Information Form and ask them to complete the Membership Application Form and either return it to you or post it back to AustSafe Super to the address on the form.
    Or
  2. Provide your employee details including their full name, address, date of birth and the date they joined your organisation when you make your superannuation payments, either on your Contribution Return or add them on through EmployerOnline

Already a member? If one of your new employees is already a member of AustSafe Super, you just need to include their AustSafe Super member number with your payment information.

Flexible Payment and Processing Options


AustSafe Super offers you a variety of options for paying and processing your super contributions. The option that is best for you will depend on the number of employees you pay for and your payroll preferences and systems. Check out the options below:

EmployerOnline

Submit your contribution details online. EmployerOnline is a secure system which provides a pre-populated list of your employees each month. All you have to do is enter the contribution amount and advise any changes for each employee. EmployerOnline enables you to manage your account online, there is no need for physical paperwork and no chance of information getting lost in the mail. 

Payroll File Transfer (online or by e-Mail)

Submit contributions using popular payroll systems. Files can be submitted online through EmployerOnline or can be emailed to AustSafe Super.

Paper (Contribution Return)

This is a manual form which is received by mail each month and requires manual completion and return by post.

Clearing House Facility

This enables you to pay contributions for those who aren't members of AustSafe Super. This option is used in conjunction wih EmployerOnline, where you can pay contributions for those employees who are members of AustSafe Super.

Online Access to your Account


EmployerOnline is our secure online facility that allows you to process and pay your contributions at a time that suits you, without the need for any paperwork.

There will be no running around chasing your tail with EmployerOnline. You can:

  • Submit your contribution details online and pay anytime 24 hours, 7 days a week
  • Add in new employees and update member details like TFN's
  • View or update business account details like your address, telephone contacts or email
  • Keep track of your past contributions to AustSafe Super

To register for EmployerOnline call the AustSafe Super Customer Service Centre on 1300 131 293 to get your user name and password. After that you can access your account from the EmployerOnline Login on the home page.
